Origins of the YOG flame!

A) History of olympics

The Olympic Games started at Olympia in Greece in 776 BC.The Greek created statues and built temples in a grove dedicated to Zeus, a god among the gods.  According to sculptor Phidias, it was considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Scholars have speculated that the games in 776 BC were not the first games, but rather the first games held after they were organized into festivals held every four years as a result of a peace agreement between the city-states of Elis and Pisa. In 393 CE , the Roman emperor, abolished the games because of zeus influences. But around 1500years later France by Baron Pierre de went to revive the Games.

Origins of olympics
The games were held every four years from 776 BC to 393 AD, when they were abolished by the Christian Byzantine Emperor Theodosius I. The ancient Olympic Games lasted for 1170 years.
The successful campaign to revive the Olympics was started in France by Baron Pierre de Coubertin late in the 19th century. The first of the modern Summer Games opened on Sunday, March 24, 1896, in Athens, Greece. The first race was won by an American college student named James Connolly

Climate change!

Climate change~!

This picture shows how much damage the global warming had caused. In just a few decades, almost half of the ice glacier has melt. When the ice glacier melts into water, it takes much more space and so it caused flood. When it floods, it will spread to some other countries and those people living at the area will suffer. Those animals living underwater will die as they are unable to survive in such areas.

Scientists have assumed that any change caused by humans would occur over many decades. They are no longer so sure. As climatologist Peter deMenocal put it, "When I began my Ph.D. in 1986, the conventional wisdom was that it took 1,000 years to end an ice age; in '91 that figure was lowered to 100 years, and then just two years later, Richard Alley at Penn State published a paper about climate changing in two to five years." So I suspect that in another few decades, all the ice will melt and the world had to come to an end.
